Casio G-Shock GMW-B5000RD-4ER is a shock-resistant watch that was released in Japan to mark the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the world’s first shock-resistant watch.

Movement
Module number 3459 is a multifunction movement that has a quartz regulator and a digital display on an LCD. Accurate to within +/-15 seconds over the course of a month (even without the use of radio time correction or syncing with a Bluetooth® smartphone). The watch is powered by light energy using technology called Tough Solar. It also contains a rechargeable battery that, after being fully charged, can last for 10 months of normal use and 22 months of power-saving mode.

Features
LED backlight with an extremely high brightness that illuminates the LCD display. Lifting and turning your hand will automatically light the LEDs, but you can also activate them manually by hitting the correct button. The illumination time may be adjusted to either 2 or 4 seconds. Automatic time adjustment Six or five times each day using MULTIBAND a radio signal coming from one of the six radio towers that can be found in Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, or China. These radio towers broadcast the data that comes from the atomic reference clock. There is the option for manual signal calibration as well as deactivation of the signal. There is an option to display the time in either a 12- or 24-hour format. When buttons are pressed, there is an on/off sound.

Case
A combined construction of the case that is typical of the G-Shock, consisting of an exterior casing, cushioned gaskets, and an interior casing to protect the movement from damage. The exterior casing of the G-Shock GMW-B5000RD-4ER watch is made of 316L stainless steel and has an ion coating in a magenta color. The width of the case is 43.2 mm, while the height is 49.3 mm, and the thickness is 13 mm. A weight of about 167 grams has been determined. The screw-on casing of the stainless steel back cover has a DLC coating, making it extremely durable and giving it the appearance of a diamond. The TROGAMID® technology that is built into the case serves to dampen vibration and absorb shock. Water-resistance for a distance of 200 meters (20 bar)

Bracelet
The color ion coating is featured on the bracelet of the Casio G-Shock GMW-B5000RD-4ER anniversary model, which features cast stainless steel links in the bracelet. Attaches the bracelet to the case by means of screws. When the double lock buttons are pressed, the clasp on the bracelet will open up.
