This is a solar-powered movement with Bluetooth® and Multi Band 6 technology that, in addition to the conventional stopwatch and alarm clock, automatically sets the time via radio signals and the G-Shock Connected app on the user’s smartphone.
Module number 5544 is a multifunction movement with a quartz regulator and a totally analogue display featuring 8 hands. Accurate to within +/-15 seconds over the course of a month (even without the use of radio time correction or syncing with a Bluetooth® smartphone). The watch is powered by light energy using technology called Tough Solar. It also features a rechargeable battery that, after being fully charged, may last for 5 months when used in regular mode and 18 months when used in power-saving mode.
